QTALK Publishing LLC ("QTALK", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to respecting the
privacy of users who access our services and websites, including www.qtalk.com and
app.qtalk.com (collectively, the "Site").
This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit our Site, use our
Web Application, or communicate with us, and how that information is used.
Information We Collect
Web Server Logs: When you visit the Site, our web server may record your IP Address,
username (if logged in), requested URLs, dates/methods of requests, status codes, bytes
transferred, and browser/OS platform. These logs are retained temporarily for
administration and security purposes and are then completely deleted.
Account Registration & Email: We record your email address and name when you or
your institution creates an account. We only use this information to maintain your
account, respond to your inquiries, or send optional announcements.
Google User Data (OAuth 2.0): If you choose to log in to the QTALK Web App using
your Google Account, we collect your email address, verified Google ID, and basic
profile information (such as your name and profile picture).
How We Use Google User Data & Limited Use Compliance
We use your Google User Data strictly to create, authenticate, and secure your user session on
our educational platform.
QTALK's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will
adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not sell, trade, lease, or disclose your Google user data to third parties for
advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purposes.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We will not sell, lend, or disclose to third parties any information collected from visitors,
except as disclosed in this Privacy Policy, when required by law or legal process, or when
working with consultants strictly to fix, maintain, or improve the security and performance of
the Site.
Data Security
We implement physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to protect the information we
collect online. However, no security system over the Internet is completely impenetrable,
and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights, Data Deletion, and Revocation
You and your institution have the right to access, modify, or request the absolute deletion of
your personal data and account information at any time. To request data deletion, please
contact us at info@qtalk.com. Furthermore, you can revoke QTALK’s access to your Google
account at any time via your Google Account Security Settings page
(https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
Children's Privacy
QTALK is an educational resource provider providing services to teachers and students.
While we DO NOT knowingly collect personal information directly from children under
13 without appropriate institutional or parental consent, accounts for students are
managed and distributed by verified educational institutions, schools, or teachers who have
entered into offline agreements with QTALK.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We review our security measures and Privacy Policy periodically and reserve the right to
update this policy as we add new services or features.
Any changes will be posted directly on the Site.
